CHALLENGE THE FIRST

So as the wisdomous coffeebasedsays, ROUND ONE AND COLLAB ROUND PROMPTS ARE UP. And the round one prompt is inspired by one of our main girls, Vriska Serket! I know what you're thinking: is wisdomous a real word? No, is the answer to that question. No it is not.

The prompts this year are themed around the patron trolls and I for one cannot wait to see the Kanaya themed prompt \o/ which we will also obviously have to do well at! But for now, let's aim our creativity at this, the first of the challenges that await us.

So, gambling. What does this mean? Whatever you want it to, pretty much. The mothership says "For Round One, incorporate gambling--literal or metaphorical--in your submission. It doesn't need to be the central focus, but it should be a major theme." Here's the OED definition of the word gamble. Here's a song about a gambling man.

Everyone who wants to create something for this round is free to do so, but only one piece of fanwork will be chosen as our team submission for this round! Collaborations are also perfectly okay - if two or more of you want to work together to create something heartstoppingly beautiful, that would be the best darn thing there could be! Our submission has to be in on June 23, so let's get creating!
